Sokyoku Hill

The hill is visible from most of Seireitei. It has sheer cliffs on all sides. There are two known access points to the Sōkyoku Hill - a long bridge connecting to the Senzaikyū and has a long, zigzagging stairway carved into one side of the Hill. One end of the Hill is heavily undercut. It is at this point that the Sōkyoku and the bridge are located. The opposite end is covered by white forest.

Nest of Maggots

Located in the north-west section of the Second Division's grounds, it is surrounded by a thirty ken (approx. 54.54m) wide moat and a high wall. It is accessible by a wooden bridge. On the inside, it resembles a cave, with an area for prisoners. Treatment for the prisoners is mostly lenient; they can walk freely and converse with one another, but the bleak setting drives many to madness. Prisoners are not held inside a cell and are free to roam the Nest, but they may not set foot outside of the facility. The only exception is the Nest of Maggots' former resident Mayuri Kurotsuchi, who was chained inside a cell.

Board Information & Statistics

Board Description
Seireitei
The Seireitei is a circular fortress with four main entrances. The wall that surrounds the Seireitei is commonly held up, only closing down when there is an emergency. When it is not down protecting the Seireitei, the wall protects the Palace of the Soul King, located in a inner dimension What is known is that in the center of the Seireitei is a white tower known as the Senzaikyū, where criminals are imprisoned (similar to death row); on the hill adjacent to it is the Sōkyoku, where prisoners are executed. Those permitted to live in the tranquility of the Seireitei are Shinigami and the few families of the nobility. Shinigami live in the Division barracks, while high-ranking officers commute from their own homes.
